Over time, we have developed a collection of boxes that don't quite meet our quality standards, but aren't yet ready for the recycling center, either. These may be shipping or retail product boxes, or moving boxes that have been somewhat crushed, torn, cut, or punctured.
If you are on a tight budget, and not using professional movers for your move we have a couple of options for further reducing the cost of moving:

- Reduced priced boxes: We often have a significant collection of moving boxes that are slightly damaged, and are priced very low. Typically prices range from $0.50 to $1.00. Please contact us about specifics and availability. You must make an appointment to obtain reduced price boxes.
- Free boxes: We are glad to let you take as many free boxes as you would like with the following requirements:

Using Professional Movers
Please note that if you are using professional movers for your move, they will be greatly annoyed if you use the free boxes. If you are paying your help by the hour, your move will cost more because it will take longer.
I encourage everyone to use high quality moving boxes when they can. Using high quality moving boxes ensures the truck will be loaded more quickly, the truck space used more efficiently, and the likelihood of things breaking is greatly reduced.
